Face of Chilid – Ana

Ana has joined Chilid only a few months but we already know that she’s very talented and hard working designer with lots of great ideas. She comes from Brazil and you can feel her warm heart every time she crosses your path.

Why do you work here? Why Chilid, why Gliwice?
Even before moving to Poland, I already knew about Chilid and thought it looked like a great place to work. Now that I’m here, I can say: it’s all true ๐Ÿ™‚

Your best beauty secret?
Embrace your own weirdness and be happy.

What’s playing in your headphones right now?
Vitor Ramil – Ramilonga (a song about missing Porto Alegre, my city <3)

If you had just 1 box for all your stuff, what would you put in it?
After moving so many times you start to detach from material stuff, I’d probably try to save my passport, macbook (because there are files that are still not synced to the cloud), and my Olympus OM-D EM-5 camera + lenses.

What was your childhood nickname?
Pimenta malagueta (chilli pepper in Portuguese) because my skin turns red for all kinds of emotional reasons.

What did you get as the prize?
I’m in a really good relationship with the client right now and everyone is happy about it ๐Ÿ™‚

Tell me what is the most interesting thing about your job?
It’s all about solving user problems! I feel really proud when I get stressed trying to figure something out but by the end of the day, I find a simple and easy to use solution that’s so well thought through that the user would never imagine the struggle I’ve been through to design it because, after my work, it becomes something that looks really easy and obvious.

What other interests do you have outside of work?
I really love music, museums, and movies/series. But I also like being outdoors, riding a bike or just enjoying the landscape.

Who did you want to be as a kid?
An astronaut of course ๐Ÿ˜€

Tabs or spaces?
Usually spaces, but sometimes tabs.
